Jim Kuse
Pastor
Jim Kuse, was a pastor in the East Ohio Conference for 22 years and a pastor for 18 years in the Florida Conference. He is a native of Brecksville, Ohio. He has a business degree from Kent State University, served as a Chaplain Assistant while stationed at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital in Denver, Colorado. He received his Master of Divinity degree from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio and has doctoral work at the Boston School of Theology. He and his wife, Kathy, who also is our music director, have 5 children and 14 grandchildren in Ohio and Iowa. They are open to serving God wherever they are sent. They have been on “loan” to Bright Hope Laurel for the past four years. They are affiliated with Central UMC in downtown Asheville.
